My thirteen-year-old granddaughter was confirmed on June 7, 2009. I purchased the cross as her gift. She was overjoyed. To her, it was a symbol of Christ, yet a piece of modern jewelry.
Thirteen-year-olds can view things differently, but being old fashioned is not their goal. It is a lovely article to wear and cherish.
